Pitch-out: Matt Jennings
5/04/09 by Brian Meyers

The most important part of making a good Pitch-out is finding the more interesting and dynamic players in the league to interview. Unfortunately, I was unable to reach that step and ended up settling with "That Pale Guy".

Most would call the vortex where Comstock, Richland, Kalamazoo and Parchment converge a sh!t hole, but this KWL'er calls it home! Matt grew up a kid of the streets as he was raised in the rough and tumble suburb known as Millwood. Being a product of the streets, Matt and his brother were forced to perform for passing cars in hopes of receiving free lunch or some spare change. Matt remembers there dance outfits that consisted of Michael Jordan and Issah Thomas pajamas that were both one size too small.

It's often hard for kids raised on the streets(especially on a coldasack) to manage to complete high school, but for Matt, Football helped him through. Impressively, Matt was an All-KVA center (this explains why he is such a grab @ss!). He recalls during his JV season, being given two carries as the Running Back. He rushed for 6 yards with approximately 4 broken tackles. Too this day, Matt still feels the need each fall to re-create this by making himself as a RB on Madden Football.

Little known facts:

Mr. Jennings often only dates women under the alias "Marty McFly" as a tribute to Michael J Fox.

He is an avid Sneaker collector and currently has nearly 80 pairs of shoes. He also likes to smell dirty sneakers.

What is your most memorable moment from the KWL?
Being one of only 4 men ever to have the good fortune of playing on Josh Little’s team.

How come you can kill a deer and put it up on your wall. but it's illegal to keep one as a pet? I didn’t know that it was.  SH*T!  Anyone have the number to Deer Forrest?  I might have a donation to make.

If girls with large breasts work at Hooters, then do girls with one leg work at IHOP? Yes, and they all wear nametags that read “PEG”

Was Dawson Named After The Creek or Was The Creek Named After Dawson? Neither.  According to UrbanDictionary.com’s definition of “creek:” ‘A combination of the two words "crack" and "cheek" forms the word creek. Used to describe the view when only half of someone’s ass is showing.  Many speculate they show was given this name based on the unaired pilots, when the character Dawson Leary, originally written for Mos Def, was portrayed as a gang banging thug who routinely wore his pants halfway down his bottom.  Focus groups found this character to be too vulgar, and the part was rewritten for James VanderBeek.

Would you rather:  Be saved by Superman or meet Winnie the Pooh? Superman.  Is that even a serious question?  As a kid I used to have my mom curl on of my bangs in front to look like Superman.  He’s always been my hero.
