National League 2011 Preview.

A lot has transpired since the 2010 season came to an end, free agents on the move, players retiring and rookies being added. So in order to help get you up to speed on what has gone down, here is a break down preview of every team! So, here is the National League!

The Belly Itchers

Who are they?
Now only two players remain from the 3-time Champs of 07-09; Downs and Tate. Returning are all three of last years high quality newb additions; Adam, Robby and Yoder.

What to expect.
Stifling pitching will be the Itchers calling card. A team ERA in the low 2's is probably pretty realistic. Look for Robby Allen to emerge as an Allstar in 2011 and for Tate to re-establish himself as one of the best hurlers in the league. Team Page

Diablos

Who are they?
A mainstay franchise that surprised everyone with their dash to the Township Series in 2010. The roster remains 100% intact from last season; Noel, Detamore, Nash, Ross and Leaym.

What to expect.
It should be no surprise this season if the Diablos continue to post the best record in the NL. A weaker NL overall could make a return trip to the Township Series a real possibility. Team Page

Golden Ponyboys

Who are they?
What remains of the imploded Monday Night 40s; Mason, Josh, Rolly (maybe) and two newbs in Mark Ford and Marcus Kole.

What to expect?
Pitching could be a struggle, but they will score runs! Both of the rooks look to be future ROY candidates. Most likely a playoff team, but probably less of a contender then the 40s were. Team Page

Lemons

Who are they?
Might as well call these guys an expansion team. Five of the team's six players are brand new to the KWL. The team captain is Travis Branch.

What to expect?
In spring training alone, they may have more hits as a team then 2010 version had all last season! Should improve as the season grows, pitching could be a mild struggle. But they will hit and produce runs. Team Page

5 Dollar Pitchers

Who are they?
The main core of the team remains intact with Grimm continue to hold it all together. Gone are Mitch and Shawn, replaced by Kurt who will be a good upgrade to the team's defense and hitting.

What to expect.
They WILL finish with a better record then their 4-24 posted in 2010. They could potentially add around 8-10 wins and become a very solid .500 ball club.

Scared Hitless

Who are they?
Rolling into their Sophmore campaign more or less the same. Lewis's roster consists of the same group of 4.5 (1/2 player being Ayres) players that finished the 2010 season just a 1/2 game out of the playoffs.

What to expect?
A team much like the former SIR in respects to a being a Playoff team without a solid #3. Kuzmin will carry most of the load offensively and on the mound.

Kentucky Waterfalls

Who are they?
A team mostly known for Brian Rensch and his phenominal throwing arm. Posted an 18-10 record in their first season. The Roster remains the same with the exception of one addition whom they have bragged about all spring. But until he shows up and proves anything, we all remain skepitcal of Davis's stories.

What to expect?
A simular season to the first. Could finish anywhere from the #1 seed to the #4 seed.   Team Page

Sidewinders.

Who are they?
Same team as last year, rocking out some nice looking uni's! Scott Twiss, Matt Schave, Adam Dobbs, Becci Dobbs and Michelle Arnold.

What to expect?
They managed just 3 wins in their first season, but should be able to win at least a few more. A laid back team that enjoys playing and in return make a fun atmosphere! Team Page
